5. What part was hardest to write?

–Hm… That’s actually a pretty hard one to pinpoint. I’d have to say that there’s a tie between the ending of Revelations and Recrudescence, but for two different reasons.

To tell the truth, I hadn’t planned to have the series continue. I had planned for Garrus and Jane to go to that bar in the sky at the end of Revelations. I will admit, no lie, I sobbed my brains out writing those last chapters.

As for Recrudescence, I was afraid of it being the end, the encore. I had no idea on expanding into more of post war. Not too many delve into OC territory and that and whatever comes after was just that. I was afraid to get to the end and their story be over.

11. What do you like best about this fic?

– I’d actually answer this about the series. I especially love how Garrus and Jane became who they are. Funny enough, I can’t think of canon Shakarian without it being biased by these two. They became their own people, even without me. Many of their characteristics during the series surprised me and I’d have never thought they’d come out as they are.
