Hah!  I TOTALLY imagine it’s like humans and shoe size.  “You know what they say about a guy with big feet…”  I completely think that the same applies to mandibles.  And holy shit, like if their dicks are spring-loaded, Victus would totally have so many wardrobe malfunctions as a teen before he was able to have better control over his plates.  I sort of HC that as they get older and more experienced, they have a bit more self control than the youngsters do.  Poor teenage Adrien.

Imagine Adrien having to teach Tarquin the ways of the world when you have huge mandibles as a teen. 😉

SO! I creep around on AO3 more than I should probably
admit. But I figured I was long over-due to make a fanfic rec list. And good god,
is it huge. And I’m still missing fics that I forgot to save or bookmark. Damn.
But, for all you lovely and  wonderful fanfic authors out there, thank you so much for the
hours of free reading and entertainment. If I’m your follower on Tumblr, I’ll try to tag you. 

I broke my list up into categories, with Sharkarian
being the longest. I’ll try to put  the lists and links out bit by bit.
First up:

Original
Male Turian Characters/Original Female Human Characters

Cobalt by Saphistar. Set during the
First Contact War, this fic already has amazing world building and fleshed out,
relatable characters. The main characters very well thought out, and I can’t
wait to see their romance further develop.

The Translation in Blood by NothingTame.
Hannah Shepard and Councilor Sparatus. Seem like an unlikely pair? You won’t
think so after reading this fic. Well thought out, fun character development
and a neat take on turian culture.

Only One by Xantall_Farwood.
Preitor Gavorn and an Original Female human character. I just really liked
Gavorn, okay? And this was a fun read.

Palaven’s Finest by ApocalypseThen.
Set after the final Battle for Earth during post Reaper War reconstruction.
This is porn that is well thought out and has a neat plot. Original male turian
character and original female human character.

The Green Eyed Turian by Ishbella.
Original male turian character and original female human character. I love
these two? The turian protagonist has some disfigurement, and it is dealt with
respectfully. Another slow burn with a good payoff.

What We’re Fighting For by RobinYourgrave.
Actually a femshep and Primarch Victus fic. Won’t lie, it’s making me a
believer in the ship. Haven’t caught up yet, but I definitely suggest a read.
Also, the author has some other very steamy sharkarian fics that are totally
worth a read.

Her Orion by squiggly_squid.
Remember Liliherix, the Brooklyn accented Turian from Noveria? Thought he
seemed like fun? Then you’ll enjoy this fun, smutty, fic, with him and an
original female human character.

The Real Thing by Mordinette.
Features the turian chef from the Zakera Café. Super cute pairing, and I love
the protagonists’ character development. And smut. Good, sweet smut with feels.

when there’s so much amazing work floating around this community, it’s super super difficult not to fall into that trap.

What she says: I have nothing to play.

What she means: The Mass Effect trilogy has emotionally drained me in the most beautiful of ways, no game that I own or could purchase begins to compare to the effect the characters had on me or the gravity of the storyline. It has left me sad yet wanting more and I’m about this close to replaying the series just to feel whole again.

Ellie never really thought of it. As a teen, she could dance, but club dancing isn’t really something she does at her age. Arcanus, however, has learned a turian dance similar to ballroom when he was living on the Citadel. Less as a means to impress or anything, but more to pass the time and have another “notch on his belt”, so to speak.

Ellie once showed interest in the passing mention of his knowledge and, with some puppy eyes, got him to show her. She’s still a bit clumsy because she over thinks, but she’s learning.
