Elias/Chise relationship analysis

Please apologize for the spoilers, but this is my analysis on Elias and Chise’s relationship regarding the concern about Elias “marrying” Chise. This is a page in chap 29. Elias is in a human form, talking to a boy about family.

In episode 6 we know that Elias has known Simon and the church for 10 years. And what can we see at the church beside people praying? Weddings. Elias must have witnessed a few weddings to become curious about the idea of 2 people marrying each other. Maybe he asked Simon to explain the term, maybe he observed those weddings, or looked up the definition in books. Regardless, he knows getting married means becoming a family, and knows the definition of “family”, even though he can’t truly understand it on an emotional level (and the things a couple do too, if you know what I mean). From episode 6 we also know that the first and foremost reasons he bought Chise are to observe human psychology and to try saving her from her imminent death, which is the part “help each other to survive”. If he succeeds, Chise will be able to survive and live in his home for many more years to come, which is “social units that spend many years together”. The reason why Chise must live is that she’s his apprentice, and it’s his duty to help raise the younger generation and pass on the art of sorcery. So, in other words, their “marriage” can’t be seen as a regular human wedding, but rather a plan. Thus is save to say their relationship or marriage is NOT AT ALL sexual, it’s not even romantic yet, you don’t have to feel worried about or uncomfortable with it.

I really want to discuss further the development of their relationship to but that’s not the point of this analysis. Besides, that would spoil it too much 😉

19.  What’s the most romantic sex they’ve had so far?  Arcanus/Ellie

Well, they have plenty of romance in their sex life, but one I think has the most impact on their lives was their actual first time, and it’s not when you would expect.  In fact, it wasn’t until after the Reaper War that they actually had any sort of sex, what with their long separation, rebuilding of their relationship, and getting control of their workaholic tendencies to have time to be with each other off the clock.  After so long, you can bet it was less hard and fast, but more a taking in of the one they pined after for so long.  Not that they were inexperienced, just that they were coming to terms with finally being there in that moment, finally seeing the other stripped of any guard they’d have thrown up.  It’s certainly a night to remember.

I guess I should do deep and shallow likes?  Just to show their depth, I assure you, lol.  Shallow, skin deep interests first.

Cassia thinks his lateral fringes are to die for.  She often gets hot and bothered in the beginning and stumbles over herself all the time when trying to get his attention.  That, and the very regal vibe he gives off with his body shape.  Where her father and brother are really broad and thick-limbed (Damocles more so than Garrus), her mate is much sleeker, and his skills at combat are more a kind of hidden secret.  On a deeper level, she finds his regal confidence and mostly hidden affection being something only she gets to have.  It makes her feel like the queen she is.

-Her mate- surprises himself when he finds himself getting unplated every time she gives him human signs of affection, many of which she learned to do without shame from her mother once they form a relationship.  In a way, it kinda goes with his deeper appeal in her human attributes and personality.  She is so open with her affections and it goes against everything he was taught and raised to know as polite in public.  Plus, he finds himself surprisingly attracted to her more softer, more curvy body shape.  

Oh my… Really?  *blushes*  That means a lot to hear considering I really don’t think I’m all too good at it.  I just try to do what I like and hope for the best when I put it out there, lol.  So happy to hear others get hot and bothered too!  I’m not alone 😉
