3. Scars or painful spots

Because they are still young in Efflux and haven’t had too long a career on the battlefield, they lack many bullet holes or blade cuts you’d expect. The few they have, though, aren’t really all that important to them or visually.

Cassia – Cassia doesn’t really have scars. Sure, she might have had a scrape or two in childhood, but overall, she takes good care of wounds and such. It’s not that she’s vain, per se, but thinks ‘why have a scar when I could just as easily prevent it with good aftercare?’

Damocles – Damocles has the obvious scar on his left eye from when  Orkamor Urik tried to kill him as a toddler. He has the occasional faint scars around his extra fingers, toe, and small spur on the inside of his foot from when he cut them in frustration and self-loathing, but you wouldn’t notice them unless you knew they were there.

4. Best places to kiss on their body

Cassia – Does the mouth count? Because that’s obvious. Other than that, she loves attention to her neck. Some nice licks and nips will have her purring and melting into a pile of blissful mush.

Damocles – While he also likes kisses on his mouth (which I think comes from both my turian kiss HC and the fact that he grew up watching his parents kiss) he can be turned into an uncharacteristically, incoherent fool when his mate gives licks and nips to his waist and belly. Damo doesn’t often let people focus on it during his trysts because he’s impatient to just get to it, but his mate brings out the best in him. The little attentions relax him more than one-night stands, he comes to realize.

5. Guilty pleasures

Cassia – Cassia loves jewelry. It doesn’t matter if she’s wearing it, a friend, or no one at all. She just loves the intricate beauty of it and the way that simple jewels and metal can be shaped to be so individualistic. Get her jewelry and she’d never stop thanking you and fawning over it.

Damocles – Damocles’ guilty pleasure has to be working out, pushing himself to the very limits. Everyone knows he likes to train, but he really likes to train. He likes it just as much as he likes having sex because it gives the same rush. Plus, he doesn’t have to worry so much about his family telling him he’s being reckless and fretting for his safety like they would in battle. His second guilty pleasure is connected to that, in that he loves to fight with his bare hands. You’ll see plenty of that in Efflux.

5. Guilty Pleasures

Arcanus is much like Garrus in that he enjoys drinking Nulli Secundus. It was something in his family, so it stuck with him. Now he can buy it like it’s air, and he takes advantage of that.

Another guilty pleasure he’s just started to give attention to after so long of being stuck in work is reading. Non-fiction, to be precise. He’ll read anything from war accounts to biographies. He enjoys the knowledge and he often reads things that speak of failings so he can know what not to do. He also finds it intriguing to be able to challenge himself and try to determine where history went wrong, and what should have been done.

20. What-ifs/Alternate timeline

If Arcanus hadn’t have met the Shakarians, he’d probably be dead. In Resurgence, they found out his second in command was plotting to kill him and it probably would have succeeded. His second in command was a friend, an old friend from his days in the military, and though he was always paranoid of another wanting his position, it would’ve surprised him enough to show that split second of weakness. That’s all it takes in his line of business. Good thing that didn’t happen because he not only is alive, but he found Ellie again!
