1: Origins! How did you come up with the concept for your OC?

15. If you write OCs, how do you decide on their names?

Good question! OC names actually come from a lot of places. Some characters are given to me from readers and they come with names and a basic layout for characteristics and I go from there. Some of my characters earn names from everyday life. Surprisingly enough, Damocles and Aeson came from roleplaying I did a while back. Cassia is taken from the name, Cassius, my boyfriend loves to use for his characters in rpg games. I don’t know why he likes the name, but I thought it’d be nice to have a bit of him in the series. As for the others, I really don’t have a system. I kinda just think about it and go with the first words that come to mind and alter it a bit.

25. Have you ever cried whilst writing a story?

I have! The biggest instance where I cried like a baby was the end of Revelations where I had to separate Jane and Garrus while trying to make readers think they die. Even though I knew the ending, those two still made me sob.

29. Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?

Hm … I don’t necessarily like to think of it that way because I’m grateful for the readers I do have and I feel like saying I don’t get enough attention is just like saying their attention doesn’t matter to me. However, I guess I could say that I wish Parable had as much love as it did in the beginning, but I get it. Many don’t like OCs and even less like the idea of hybrids, but I don’t snub my nose at those who have stuck with me. I love my long-time readers and enjoy entertaining them with my silly musings 😀
