15. If you write OCs, how do you decide on their names?

Good question! OC names actually come from a lot of places. Some characters are given to me from readers and they come with names and a basic layout for characteristics and I go from there. Some of my characters earn names from everyday life. Surprisingly enough, Damocles and Aeson came from roleplaying I did a while back. Cassia is taken from the name, Cassius, my boyfriend loves to use for his characters in rpg games. I don’t know why he likes the name, but I thought it’d be nice to have a bit of him in the series. As for the others, I really don’t have a system. I kinda just think about it and go with the first words that come to mind and alter it a bit.

25. Have you ever cried whilst writing a story?

I have! The biggest instance where I cried like a baby was the end of Revelations where I had to separate Jane and Garrus while trying to make readers think they die. Even though I knew the ending, those two still made me sob.

29. Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?

Hm … I don’t necessarily like to think of it that way because I’m grateful for the readers I do have and I feel like saying I don’t get enough attention is just like saying their attention doesn’t matter to me. However, I guess I could say that I wish Parable had as much love as it did in the beginning, but I get it. Many don’t like OCs and even less like the idea of hybrids, but I don’t snub my nose at those who have stuck with me. I love my long-time readers and enjoy entertaining them with my silly musings 😀

5. If you had to choose a favorite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?

I’m going to go with Juxtaposed because it’s my first. It got me into fanfiction writing and has turned into this huge series, so it has a special place in my heart. (It’s actually undergoing a revising and editing!)

30. In contrast to 29 is there a story which gets lots of love which you kinda eye roll at?

I’m kinda surprised and amused at how much attention ‘What Are You Wearing?’ has gotten. I am horrible at dirty talk, so I’m so dumbfounded that people like it!

33. What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten?

I’m going to say that you telling me Parable is your favorite and has been read many times has to be the best thing I’ve ever been told about my writing. It really helps me control some of that self-doubt over it all when I have someone out there willing to read over the typos and shaky baby steps I took in the beginning. 😀
