Well, thanks and my inbox is always open, but I didn’t think I had that big of a problem with being humble? I mean, I’m kinda the last person to turn into a boastful jerk so I guess you don’t have to worry too much about that XD

To be honest, I never thought of it. I didn’t really know if there was any interest in other ships in Parable and I didn’t want that do couples that haven’t been established in the fics yet (ie. The kids and their SOs).

I’d be interested in seeing if there is much interest in other ships in ABCs

He would, but not because he’d be in his old life, but that he wouldn’t be in pain. If he was simply betrayed and in his current place without the fire, he would be fine living his current life. He likes Charles and Jasmine, but ultimately, Ares comes first in his own mind.

If he could give everything not to be in constant pain and disfigurement, he wouldn’t hesitate. Sorry Jasmine and Charles 🤷

Poor Nocturni Garrus’ fear is becoming the monster he looks like. Nihlus has never seen a Nocturni in control of their hunger and that weighs on Garrus.

Can he become the one Nocturni who is more than a blood thirsty beast?

Cydian was actually pretty young as a turian before being turned, but has been a Nocturni for quite some time. She’s been around for a century or two already, but she hasn’t really been all that bad (in her eyes).

She was just finishing up her service as an engineer when the ship she was stationed on was attacked by pirates. The ship was a small cruiser and was caught by surprise, unable to defend itself before the pirate vessel damaged their shields and forced a boarding.

The pirates were not simple turians, however. They were Nocturni. Hungry Nocturni. They fed on the crew and Cydian was left bleeding to death in a pile of her fellow crewmen when the leader found her. He was a sadistic man, but saw her still trying to crawl to safety and thought she’d make a nice addition to his (hate to say it) harem. He had females he kept near starved, weak, and completely reliant on him. She became one of those females.

She was kept prisoner for quite some time and her captor eventually became complacent with her and the others. During this time, Cydian made two ‘sons,’ her ‘first born’ she calls them, during a similar assault on a colony. Instead of taking then prisoner, she offered them a chance to live and they took it. Becoming loyal to her, they built their strength until the time they banded with her and the other females to turn the tables.

They slaughtered the pirate gang, but it cost quite a few female lives because they were so weak (Cydian’s sons were feeding her whenever they could). What few remained either hated their existence and refused to continue or joined her.

Over the years, the only ones to survive are Cydian and her sons.

Cassia’s favorite is easily Christmas. She loves the festivities and giving people gifts. Plus, there’s always good food. Saren doesn’t really get into the whole ‘friends and family’ aspect of it just because he isn’t a huge people person, but he lets her drag him around, so I guess there’s that, lol. He can get behind the idea of giving gifts after a few years of her making him do it because he sees how it makes her happy to be able to give close family and friends thoughtful gifts. Plus, some people who understand the holiday better seem to like when they receive something no matter what it is.

Damocles’ favorite is Halloween. There’s usually a big party among the kids of the Normandy now that they’re too old for trick or treating and Damocles always dresses as something new every year. It’s often a surprise to everyone but Aeson what he’ll be. He may or may not have a hand in scaring away those trick or treaters being assholes to each other. Aeson enjoys dressing up too and they tend to associate their costumes in at least some way. As Damo scares the kids, Aeson takes time to give candy, so they compliment each other, lol

Charles, is that you asking? Lol

Ares likes that Charles is calming. Whether it’s his smell or just his presence, Ares feels more relaxed than he does alone or has in a long time. It’s why he trusted Charles so quickly and easily.
