maple – is there a hobby / skill that you’ve always wanted to try but never did?

I’ve always wanted to be able to go hiking, but I hate the outdoors so that’s kinda a big deal, lol. I don’t know why, but I thought maybe getting up to a good spot, I could see some the best scenery. I can’t hike now because of health problems, but I can imagine!

cinnamon – if you had to live in a time period different than the present, which would you choose and where?

Hm … Can we ignore the whole black plague? Because I wouldn’t mind seeing what it was like during the renaissance in Italy. However, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t get to really enjoy it with the whole ‘being a woman’ thing. I’d probably miss out on a lot.

Is it cheating to say I want to go into the future to us finding life on other planets? Because I wouldn’t say no to the possibility of doing some very unbecoming things to some aliens.

I actually didn’t like a whole lot of beef as a kid, but I don’t know why. I just didn’t like it. Now I don’t have a problem with it and actually really like a good steak. I don’t know, I was a weird kid, lol

Getting a bit personal here, but I’d like to know what my damn endometriosis is going to decide to do, cooperate or rebel to the point where I’m getting rid of my damn uterus. I don’t mind having to, but I’d like to hurry up and know after six months of hormones shots -_-

fireside – if you had your dream wardrobe, what would it look like?

Haha. I love 50s clothes and styles, but that takes a lot of work. For one, I have no idea how to fix my hair and two, I can’t put makeup on to save my life. Those are huge things in 50s fashion, so I guess I’ll admire from afar, lol.

lantern – how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other?

I’m actually going to be cheesy, but my boyfriend is my best friend. He has been for a while. We met in high school in theater class when our teacher assigned us in a group to create a fake commercial. He actually thought I was just a stuck up white girl and I thought he was just another kid who was going to make fun of me for being white (I live in South Texas). We actually bonded over the scene and became friends outside of theater class. It all went up from there!

crow – which school subject do you wish you had an aptitude for?

Hm … I wish I was better at physics. I didn’t fail the class, but it was a struggle for me. Maybe the unhelpful teacher didn’t help, but I had a hard time enjoying the class because I couldn’t get my head wrapped around everything. Ironic that physics is one of the BF’s majors, lol

Aeson/Damocles: Who cooks?

Aeson is the one to cook. He is the best balanced when it comes to cooking skills. Damocles knows how to cook a good steak or other slab of meat, but he just doesn’t want to learn anything else. That, and I’m pretty sure he’d probably burn it, lol

Cassia/Saren:

Quickest turn ons? Immediate turn offs?

2. Who’s the messiest? The cleanest?

Cassia/Saren

These two are very organized, actually. They both like neatness, but if I had to nitpick the little details, Saren would probably be more obsessive with order. Take his home, for example: It still looks like some kind of model home and has no personal affects. For starters, he just isn’t home enough, but he also sees no reason to keep around what he things are useless nicknacks. Cassia gets that thinking out of him eventually, but that’s the state of his place at the beginning of Efflux.

Damocles/Aeson

This is definitely Aeson. Professionally, Damocles is well keep with his things for combat, but at home, you could fall into the mess in Damocles’ room and never come back out. Aeson, on the other hand, keeps his room cleaner. He still has that well lived-in feel and isn’t as neat as Cassia, but he’s learned to be organized for his work. It would really stink if he’s out on the water in his boat and suddenly forgot something because he can’t keep organized!

5. Who buys the groceries?

Cassia/Saren

Cassia would buy the groceries. She’s much better at finding food for comfort instead of simple rations or bland food. Saren is out just to sate his hunger, but Cassia knows that food should taste delicious.

Damocles/Aeson

This is pretty much the same as Cassia and Saren, only it’s Aeson doing the shopping. Damocles might get something better than rations, but he’s usually buying meat only and not much else besides maybe something to drink (he goes with anything from liquor, to sodas, to water). Aeson will actually get something else to go with meals, making an actual full course. He also knows how to cook it!

3. Any kinks they clash on?

Cassia/Saren

Saren doesn’t really have many people he has sex with regularly enough to develop kinks with before Cassia. Once they start seeing each other, though, it’s usually Cassia coming up with ideas. She’s not wild, by any means, but she’s gone out for some pieces of lingerie and often likes to surprise Saren by dressing up.

Damocles/Aeson

Actually, no. These two are pretty easy going with each other and talk out their interests and kinks. Damocles has some interests, but never really played with them on his one-night stands, so when he brings them up, Aeson is all for trying it at least once. They don’t really clash on anything, but there are some things they don’t like that they agree on.

Cassia/Saren

Cassia loves Saren in a nice suit. He wears them quite often if he ever manages to give up work long enough to get dressed in something besides armor or a worksuit, so you can tell she’s one happy lady. Saren likes it when Cassia is determined and knows what she wants. He likes it when she puts her foot down, though not too many people know that about him at first looks because they usually see him so reluctant and also over-analyzing anything fun, lol.

Saren doesn’t really like flaunting of their sex, so Cassia is sure not to let him know when she has her girl talk about it. Hey! The girls have to share stories! Although I doubt Saren would ever do it, Cassia disapproves of full out hard and dirty sex. She isn’t one for the real raunchy stuff as it makes her uncomfortable, but like I said, I don’t really see Saren starting something like that.

Damocles/Aeson

At first, they don’t like to think about what turns them on about the other because they don’t want to ruin their close friendship, but once they start sleeping together, they start to see things in the other that really turns them on. Aeson’s big thing is the way Damo looks. He loves the sheer size of Damo and wants to trace every tattoo on his body. Damocles gets all hot under the cowl when Aeson actually gets demanding during sex. With how quiet he usually is, it’s something so unique for Damo to see Aeson like that.

Shaming is a huge no for them both. They put up with so much shit from everyone else that neither wants to be put down or put down the other. Damocles especially hates it, but I don’t blame the poor guy.

1. What is one thing that one person does that drives the other
absolutely crazy?

Ellie gets really frustrated when Arcanus always works. Sure, she can eventually hound him enough to get away, but it takes some time. (We’ll refuse to acknowledge that she’s just as bad at it :P)

Arcanus doesn’t often get annoyed with things, but he does like to protest when she often wants to drag him out of the house. He is a homebody but mostly because, admittedly, he’s not too good at socializing. I think he’s more because he’s so out of place that he’d much rather spend time at home with just the two of them.

2. Since Arcanus and Elyse have been together for a
long time, what are the habits Elyse got from Arcanus and Arcanus from
Her?

Ellie is much more organized than she was before. She wasn’t a slob by any means, but she will agree that she was a bit of a ‘there’s order in this chaos’ sort of person, it just didn’t look so bad because she didn’t have that many things to pile up. Arcanus, however, has taught her that it is actually much easier to find things when they’re properly organized, so she keeps things neat (to an extent, definitely not as much as him).

Arcanus has learned to relax more. She took to giving up work much easier than he did, but I think a lot of that was because she wanted to learn how to live for herself instead of the job. Slowly but surely, she’s getting him to realize that too. They won’t give up work completely, mind you, but they are getting to where they enjoy the little things more, put their own interests ahead of duty.

3. Does Elyse get really really angry in some occasions? Or she’s
the type that controls her anger well?

Ellie doesn’t get uncontrollably angry, no. She’s learned to be calm – it comes with her occupation. She may get a bit tiffy if she’s upset about something she really cares about, but she isn’t one to raise her voice or resort to rude language.
