I was so lucky to be able to get a commission from the lovely @savbakk on their recent commission slots and look at my amazing Fibonacci Garrus!

For those familiar with the worldbuilding I’ve been doing for that fic, you’ll remember that turians have wings and that Garrus is a Prince! I absolutely love how this came out, from his armor to the tiny details on his face and shawl, to those, of course, awesome wings. He looks perfect and just how I wanted and I’m so lucky that Sav did such a wonderful job bringing him to life from my ideas.

Seriously, go commission this artist!

Thanks again, Sav. You’re so awesome ❤️

I was tagged by the awesome @theravenofwynter. I haven’t been writing a fic, per se, but I’ll share some Fibonacci worldbuilding about Prince Garrus.

Has two versions of clothing:

Typically during travel, he will wear a hooded cloak over a slightly padded tunic and leather chest guard

—–Much like a hunter’s outfit

When he needs to represent his people (usually on the Citadel) he will wear a more suitable, less utilitarian outfit

—–He doesn’t usually like to dress this way when he is with Jon and crew because it makes him stand out, but he has no problem when alone

Off the top of my head, I tag @wafflesrock16, @mosaiccreme, @saphistar, and @cousinslavellan

I was tagged by @mosaiccreme and I tag @wafflesrock16 , @cousinslavellan , @saphistar and @theravenofwynter but only if you want to!

I’m not currently working on a fic chapter, but I am doing some Fibonacci world building so I’ll share some of that 😀

Some info on the batarians

Political power is held by those with the most gold

  • An emperor gains power with gold and often violence
  • Emperors can have advisors, but have final word
  • Overseers of larger settlements have control unless emperor steps in

Combat

  • While most settlements are often in competition, fear of punishment keeps all batarians under imperial control in times of war
  • If the emperor is not skilled at military strategy, a trusted general will be chosen

Want some Fibonacci world building? No? Too bad! Here it is!

Asari – The Magician

Appearance

  • Average height is 6ft
  • Facial markings follow genetic,  familial patterns, but some asari can add tattooed patterns

Attire:

  • Usually wears long, flowing, and sometimes sheer clothing
  • Not uncommon for clothing to have cut outs or reveal more skin than other peoples
  • Often use vivid colors
  • Outfits with pants still tend to include cut outs in the fabric as well and can be more form fitting for maneuverability
  • Priestesses and acolytes tend to have more intricate garb often with jewels
  • It is not uncommon for them to walk barefoot
  • Those in the Lesuss Monastery (ardat-yakshi) tend to wear hoods and may use more neutral or dark colors

Armor

  • Light armor is the preferred choice and can sometimes include a sash or cloak
  • Justicars wear gold armor with the helmet’s face plate designed after a asari face

Asari
are spiritual, following the teachings of the Goddess, Athame (Goddess
of prophecy and fate that teaches mathematics and medicine) and her
guides, Janiri (agriculture) and Lucen (the stars)

  • They also believe in a unified whole of all peoples of one creation
  • Death leads to their spirit becoming one with Alysim
  • Temples often incorporate water, some even built around rivers themselves
  • Celebrate
the springtime fertility ritual Janiris which marks the start of the
new year. During this time, they create wreaths of flowers and
distribute them among their friends and loved ones
  • Justicars are religious warriors, believed to follow a code designed by Athame herself

There is no set political structure as asari are in constant communication throughout Thessia

  • Average citizens often develop thought alone before sending a representative to speak with a priestess
  • The priestess then speaks to (or can be circumvented altogether) the Matriarch responsible for playing the region’s representative
  • If need be, Matriarchs (or High Priestesses where Matriarchs are not available) then discuss the matter and come to a decision
  • This decision can always been protested by citizens and undergo another process

The Councilor is anyone willing to accept the responsibility, usually volunteering herself

  • There is then a vote among anyone wanting to decide on the issue
  • The current Councilor is a High Priestess
